Michael Suchan · Software for businesses

Custom software for your business. In weeks, not months.

I build platforms and business applications, tailored precisely to your processes, with AI integrated where it adds real value. From first idea to running operations, one point of contact.

About

From the business side, not the ticket queue.

I'm Michael Suchan, developer and entrepreneur, based in Cyprus. I work remotely for clients across Europe.

I've been running businesses for over ten years, including my own company in the solar industry, where I built and operated the entire software and technology side myself. For roughly three years my focus has been entirely on software development, consistently with a heavy AI component.

It shows in how I approach projects: I first ask which business process should run better, then build the software around it. Not the other way around.

I work heavily AI-assisted myself. That's why things get finished in days where others plan in weeks.

Services

Everything from one hand, from first call to operations.

From first call to operations.

Understand the requirements, build the solution, ship it and keep it running. One point of contact for the whole journey, no handovers.

AI applications and assistants

Language models wired into production, not demos. Document analysis, RAG over your own knowledge base, vector search, voice input and output, guardrails and quality measurement, so the results hold up in daily use.

AI agents and process automation

Agents that work on their own: reading mail, extracting data from attachments, filling systems, generating reports, checking each other. Connected to the tools your company already uses, via MCP, APIs and webhooks.

Dashboards and business applications

A single interface layered over grown system landscapes instead of replacing them. Numbers that currently live in four tools, in one place. With permissions, roles and real workflows, not just charts.

Web applications and apps

From landing page to iOS app in the App Store. Next.js, React, React Native, mobile first.

Operations and hosting

I don't just deliver code, I deliver the running system: dedicated server, deployment, monitoring, backups, certificates, encrypted credentials. You get something that runs, not a repository.

Selected work

Projects from the last three years.

All of it designed, built and delivered by me. Client names withheld for confidentiality. Industry and scale tell the story.

Automotive trade

Operations platform for a car dealer importing from Japan and the UK

Vehicle inventory, sales processing, bookkeeping with payment tracking and automatically generated quote PDFs in one application. Documents come in via drag and drop, their type is recognized automatically. Includes a custom margin engine.

Skilled trades, 40 employees, 13 locations

One interface over eleven grown systems

Instead of replacing the systems, I layered a modular platform on top, each module with its own area, settings and permissions. At the core sits an AI layer that reads along the channels and consolidates the KPIs that previously required four tools open side by side.

Wholesale

Ordering app for a consumer goods wholesaler

Customers order via barcode scan, image recognition or by uploading a PDF or Excel list. Behind it sits a pricing engine with an approval workflow and margin floor that remembers which price each customer was last granted. A second module reads orders directly from email attachments.

Recruiting

CRM with automated proposal generation

All leads are imported every two minutes, deduplicated, qualified and filtered by rules. The proposal engine reads uploaded PDFs, verifies company details against the real website and records the source of every auto-filled field.

Oil and gas

Tender cockpit with an AI assistant

The government tender platform is scanned autonomously and new tenders are prepared for review. Next to it sits an AI assistant with voice input and output that answers questions about the documents.

Real estate

Listing engine for a brokerage with several developers

Incoming developer emails are processed automatically: price lists, photos, floor areas and locations are extracted by AI and written into the existing brokerage CRM. Price update emails modify existing units instead of creating duplicates. Includes automatic exposé generation.

Own product · Legal tech

AI contract analysis as an iOS and web app

Scan, photograph or upload a contract and get a legal risk analysis back. Document analysis via language models, RAG over statutes, standards and court rulings including the ECJ database, and an evaluation loop with deliberately flawed test contracts. Infrastructure entirely in Europe.

Online academy

Community bot for a social media academy

An AI bot looks after the course community around the clock: it welcomes new members, answers questions based on the course material and points to the right chapter, posts daily prompts and gives feedback on member portfolios.

Health coaching

E-commerce platform with its own report generator

An online shop for digital products built around a generator that computes an individual report from a few inputs and renders it as a designed PDF. Includes checkout, product management and automatic delivery. Running in production.

Own product · Automation

Website production as an autonomous business process

A team of four specialized AI agents finds local businesses, builds each one a finished preview website, checks it against quality gates and reworks any complaints on its own. Delivery happens by email, purchase via a form with no meeting required. Plus open and visit tracking with bot filtering.

Agent systems

Around a dozen AI agents rolled out and in production

Each on its own server, connected to Telegram or WhatsApp, with access separation, an auth proxy and onboarding documentation. Includes monitoring that automatically restarts stalled agents.

Also: a company CRM in daily production with encrypted per-user mailbox integration, a price ticker for collectible cards as a physical device plus app, a trading dashboard with backtesting, a sales automation that creates and prices opportunities in the CRM on its own, an aggregator for boat and yacht listings with its own scraper, several complete website rebuilds with video heroes and 3D effects, and a video pipeline that produces a finished explainer video with voiceover and subtitles every day, untouched.

Process

How I work.

01

Understand

A conversation about the business process, not the technology. The result is a numbered list of requirements that acceptance is later measured against.

02

Build

You see a clickable version early, not just at the end. I deliver in short intervals and deploy every interim version so you can review it in the browser instead of a status report.

03

Verify

Every change goes through a review before it goes live and is checked against the requirements list. I test the application as a user, not just the code.

04

Operate

Server, deployment, monitoring and backups are part of the package. If you want, I run the system for you. If not, you get everything handed over, documented.

Why me

And not an agency.

One point of contact, no handovers.

No project manager sitting between you and the development.

Speed.

I work AI-assisted and deliver in days what is usually quoted in weeks.

I operate what I build.

Which is why I build it to be operable from day one.

I think in business processes.

I've run companies myself and know where the real effort in a business sits.

Scalable

Fast alone.
Scalable as a team.

Most projects I deliver entirely on my own. That keeps paths short and decisions fast. When a project grows, or a team is explicitly wanted, a well-rehearsed full-stack team is on standby, ready to go without ramp-up. Nothing changes for you: one point of contact, one contract partner.

Questions and answers

The essentials, answered briefly.

How long does a project take?

A clearly scoped module ships in days to a few weeks. A complete platform in weeks to a few months. The difference to conventional quotes is less about effort and more about speed.

Do you work at a fixed price?

Yes, when the scope is clearly defined. For ongoing development, time and materials.

Where does the data live?

Entirely in Europe if you want it to. For a product handling sensitive legal documents, that's exactly what I built.

What happens after delivery?

Either I keep operating the application, or you get a full handover: code, servers, credentials, documentation. No lock-in.

You're based in Cyprus, is that a problem?

No. I work in the EU timezone plus one hour, speak German as a native language and English at business level, and invoice through an EU company.
